Claim to fame

California native Derek Klena makes his Broadway debut as Fiyero in the hit musical Wicked. Off-Broadway, Klena originated the role of Eddie Birdlace in the musical Dogfight and starred as Tommy Ross in MCC Theater’s revamped Carrie revival. Klena also appeared on the singing competition American Idol.
