Claim to fame

Parrish is best known for playing Silas Botwin, the son of Mary-Louise Parker's pot-dealing character on Showtime's Weeds. He made his Broadway debut in 2009 as a replacement Melchior in the Tony-winning musical Spring Awakening, earning a Broadway.com Audience Choice Award for Favorite Replacement. He has since gone on to appear in films like 17 Again and It's Complicated. Parrish returned to Broadway in 2011 to play Jesus in the revival of Godspell.
