After performing back to back Broadway roles in 2009-10's The Royal Family and Lend Me a Tenor, Jan Maxwell became one of the few actresses in history to be nominated for two Tonys Awards in the same season. She was also nominated for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Coram Boy; other memorable roles include Dancing at Lughnasa, The Sound of Music, A Doll’s House, To Be Or Not To Be and the 2011 revival of Follies.
