Claim to fame

Katie Rose Clarke took over the role of Glinda in the Broadway smash Wicked in 2010, after performing the part for two years in the show’s national tour. While still in college, she was tapped for her Broadway debut as a replacement Clara Johnson in The Light in the Piazza, a role with which she also toured. Her other credits include the Long Wharf Theatre production of Craig Lucas’ Prayer For My Enemy.
