After a nationwide search, Los Angeles native Lilla Crawford won the title role in James Lapine’s 2012 revival of the Tony-winning musical Annie. Crawford made her Broadway debut in 2011 as sassy young dancer Debbie in the closing cast of the musical Billy Elliot. The young actress also appeared in a workshop of Melissa Arctic and has performed in 14 shows at Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts in L..A.
