After making her Broadway debut in the The Color Purple, Montego Glover turned heads on Broadway by originating the role of Felicia in Memphis. The part, which she developed for many years before the show hit the Great White Way, garnered the Tennessee native a Tony Award nomination and a Drama Desk Award.
