NaTasha Yvette Williams made her Broadway debut as Sofia in The Color Purple and originated the role of Mammy in the West End's Gone With the Wind. . Other stage credits include All Shook Up, Godspell, Abyssinia, Ain’t Misbehavin' and Parade. A talented gospel singer, she returned to Broadway in 2012 as Catfish Row matriarch Mariah in Porgy and Bess.
