Claim to fame
In a real-life Broadway Cinderella story, Patina Miller was plucked from the chorus of the Pasadena premiere of Sister Act and made her West End and Broadway debuts playing Deloris Van Cartier. She went on to star as the Leading Player in Pippin. She also appeared in workshops of American Idiot and The Book of Mormon, TV's All My Children, and the Public Theater's 2008 production of Hair.
