One of cinema's most charismatic actors with an affinity for foul-mouthed characters, Samuel L. Jackson made his Broadway debut in 1990 as an understudy in The Piano Lesson. He earned an Oscar nomination for 1994's Pulp Fiction and went on to star in films such as The Negotiator, Shaft, Snakes on a Plane and Coach Carter. Jackson returns to Broadway as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in The Mountaintop.
