The Broadway beauty takes one last look in the mirror before heading out.

On the way to the theater district, Block catches up with her husband, who was filming in Baltimore.

Stephanie arrives to the Millennium Broadway Hotel in style, ready to celebrate with her fellow Tony nominees.

Look who's here: Another Best Actress hopeful, Cinderella star Laura Osnes, strikes a pose with Stephanie J. Block. Osnes knows a thing or two about the Tony nominee brunch—she was the subject of Broadway.com's photo feature last year!

Stephanie makes her grand entrance onto the red carpet.

After applying some lip gloss herself, Block is ready to slip into something fabulous.

Stephanie opts for a sleeveless Kate Spade frock for the event. "When you’re a Tony nominee, even ironing is happy,” she declares with a laugh.

Stephanie, nominated for the decidedly unglamorous role of Edwin Drood, vamps while getting set for the press event.

Block's red carpet look is almost complete! The Broadway diva looks calm, cool and collected as her makeup artist applies the finishing touch of eye shadow.

Block's favorite nomination day message? A tearful congratulations from her father, who she assured us rarely cries.

Hairstylist and makeup artist Barry Lee Moe began working Stephanie during her run in Anything Goes. “There's great trust there,” she says.

After working in New York for more than a decade, “I’m just happy to be invited to the party,” the Tony nominee gushes.

The Broadway star is all smiles after an overwhelming day of “tears of gratitude and relief,” including more than calls, texts and congratulatory notes. (She tried to respond to all of them!)

As Block gets glammed up, she relaxes by watching her husband Sebastian Arcelus on the hit Netflix drama House of Cards.

Who says Tony nominees don't enjoy carbs? Stephanie treats herself to a well-deserved breakfast of yogurt and gluten-free waffles.

“Today I’m nervous because I’m an actual nominee, but yesterday was just pure joy because I’ve learned not to expect anything,” Block confesses.

Before Stephanie J. Block gets pampered for the Tony press reception, she takes care of her dog, Macaco. “He’s totally been snubbed,” she says of the pup’s performance in The Mystery of Edwin Drood.
