Claim to fame

Before Wood Harris became famous playing drug kingpin Avon Barksdale in the HBO series The Wire and Julius “Big Ju” Campbell in the film Remember the Titans, he appeared off-Broadway in A Soldier’s Play and Troilus and Cressida. He made his Broadway debut as Mitch in the 2012 revival of A Streetcar Named Desire.

A fight breaks out as a drunk Stanley lunges after Stella, who has fled the apartment to escape his brutality.
