The producers of Broadway’s high-flying favorite Wicked have announced that the musical will launch a second North American tour in March 2009. The current Wicked tour, playing in Rochester, NY, through June 15 before moving on to Buffalo, has reportedly broken house records in every city in which it has landed.

The second North American tour will launch in Fort Myers, FL, at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall beginning March 7, 2009, running through March 29, 2009. Wicked will then move on to Birmingham’s BJCC Concert Hall April 3-19, Jacksonville’s Times Union Center April 23-May 10, Norfolk’s Chrysler Hall May 13-31, Indianapolis’ Murat Centre June 3-21 and Memphis’ Orpheum Theatre June 24-July 12. More dates will be announced later.
