On a porch in the middle of nowhere, two old friends, Byron and Ames, sit drinking bourbon. Longtime buddies who haven’t seen each other in years, the pair have been reunited by a frantic phone call from Byron to Ames—made as his marriage is beginning to fall apart. As the sun sets and a lunar eclipse approaches, drinking and talking slowly lead Byron and Ames to recount their rocky personal history—and the tenuous nature of their current situation.
