The clean cut, dreamy-voiced fellas of the New World Stages received a special guest in the audience this week, when Frank Avalon—the clean cut, dreamy-voiced star of Beach Blanket Bingo (not to mention 31 Billboard-listed hits of the 1950s and '60s)—took in the long-running off-Broadway hit Altar Boyz on August 30. According to Avalon, it was that other iconic Frankie (Valli), who recommended he see the show. Accompanied by his lovely wife, Kathryn, we captured the moment when Matthew, Mark, Luke, Juan and Abraham met Frankie.
