The antidote to the Sunday night blues? How about Green Day performing with the Broadway cast of new musical American Idiot at the 2010 Grammy Awards? The cast joined Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool to perform “21 Guns” at the ceremony, which aired on CBS on January 31 live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Later in the evening, the rock trio took home the award for Best Rock Album for 21st Century Breakdown.
