Tony winner Phylicia Rashad returned to Broadway on May 28 as the foul-mouthed, pill-popping matriarch Violet Weston in Tracy Letts’ August: Osage County. Broadway.com was there to catch Rashad as she took her first bow in the Pulitzer and Tony-winning drama, and we have to say that the new Jenny Craig spokesperson was looking mighty svelte. Take a look at Rashad, returning original star Amy Morton and the rest of the cast on the Music Box Theatre stage.
