Story

This one night only concert by the legendary Barbara Cook celebrating the publication day of her eagerly anticipated memoir Then and Now promises to be a never to be forgotten experience for Feinstein’s/54 Below guests. Broadway’s favorite Golden Age ingenue will entertain with her silvery soprano, purity of tone, and warm presence which have delighted audiences around the world for more than 50 years. This evening marks the first time Ms. Cook has appeared in concert in New York City for over a year. She returns to trumpet the completion and publishing of her book, an accomplishment she has strived for, for many years. Critics are saying: “Barbara Cook [in her memoir] delivers a powerful, personal tale of pain and triumph, as straight forward, unflinchingly honest, and open hearted as her singing.” Don’t miss this extraordinary night, a one time only opportunity to spend time up close and personal with the incomparable Barbara Cook!
