If the cast of Catch Me If You Can looked at ease during a first rehearsal photo op on January 24, they had good reason: The leading players created their roles in the musical’s 2009 Seattle tryout, and they’re delighted to be reunited for the Broadway production. Norbert Leo Butz, Aaron Tveit, Tom Wopat and other cast members gathered at New 42nd Street Rehearsals Studios, joined by director Jack O’Brien, the composing team of Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman and other members of the creative team. Obviously excited and ready to get down to work, the company will hone the show before beginning previews on March 7 at the Neil Simon Theatre. We can’t wait!
