Colman Domingo Welcomes John Kander and His Fellow Scottsboro Boys to Chicago

Before the much buzzed-about The Scottsboro Boys opens on Broadway at the Lyceum Theatre on October 31, the show’s star Colman Domingo is taking a detour to Chicago, where he’s currently starring as hotshot lawyer Billy Flynn. On July 8, Domingo welcomed the cast of The Scottsboro Boys to the Ambassador Theatre to check out his performance. Not only were the Boys in town, but John Kander, who composed both Chicago and The Scottsboro Boys alongside the late Fred Ebb also stopped by the Chicago cell block to watch his classic show.
