On October 12, comedian Colin Quinn and newly minted Broadway director Jerry Seinfeld sat down to discuss Quinn’s latest one-man show, Long Story Short, which begins performances on October 22 at the Helen Hayes Theatre. CNN anchor (and silver fox) Anderson Cooper led the discussion about the 75-minute show, which charts the rise and fall of history’s greatest empires as well as humanity’s unfortunate tendency to make the same mistakes over and over again. The trio dished on everything from Quinn and Seinfeld’s long-standing friendship to Seinfeld’s enthusiasm for bringing Quinn’s cerebral brand of comedy to a Broadway audience.
