The real-life plagiarism drama that rocked The New York Times is coming to life on stage in Atlantic Theater Company’s off-Broadway premiere of CQ/CX, written by former Times staffer Gabe McKinley. Based on the saga of disgraced reporter Jayson Blair, the play opened on February 15 at the Peter Norton Space in a top-drawer production designed by David Rockwell and directed by five-time Tony nominee David Leveaux. After the performance, the company gathered for a party at West Bank Café, and Broadway.com stopped by to share in the celebration.
