What Is the Story of Freckleface Strawberry?
Strawberry is a seven-year-old redhead who loves to ride her bike and has lots of friends. There’s just one problem: She hates her freckles. Teased mercilessly by her classmates, Strawberry looks for ways to cover those dreaded spots, including covering her head with an itchy ski mask at school. Will she ever believe what her mother says—that she is “Perfect” in her own way?
What Is Freckleface Strawberry Like?
This sweet-natured musical adaptation of Julianne Moore’s autobiographical picture book features seven adult actors playing Strawberry and her friends, her mother and a teacher. It’s a fast-moving, lighthearted show sure to keep both kids and parents entertained.
