2007 Tony Award winner Frank Langella stars in this production of Peter Morgan's play, directly from the West End's Donmar Warehouse.
On April 22, the Broadway debuting playwright Peter Morgan—best known for his acclaimed screenplays of The Queen and The Last King of Scotland—saw his latest exploration of the media's relationship with powerful political heads of state successfully cross the pond with the opening of Frost/Nixon at Broadway's Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre. The production, which stars British stage and film actor Michael Sheen as TV journalist David Frost navigating a series of one-on-one interviews with a post-Watergate President Richard M. Nixon (played by the two-time Tony Award-winning Frank Langella) was a smash hit when it played in London last season. No surprise then that with its stellar cast and creative team, plus the fascinating subject matter, Frost/Nixon's arrival on the Great White Way drew a particularly glamorous crowd of high-profile journalists, writers and movie stars.
