Pop Star Ashley Parker Angel Is Hairspray's Next Link Larkin

Angel became a breakout star on the ABC series "Making the Band, which followed the formation of his multi-platinum recording group O-Town, known for the pop hit "All or Nothing." He most recently appeared in his own MTV series "There and Back," and released his solo album Soundtrack to Your Life last year, featuring the chart-topping single "Let You Go."

Also joining the Hairspray cast are Brynn O'Malley as Amber Von Tussle on January 19 and Susan Mosher as the Female Authority Figure on January 16. Remaining in the cast along with DeGarmo Penny Pingelton, Campbell Seaweed Stubbs and Love Motormouth Mabelle are Shannon Durig Tracy Turnblad, Blake Hammond Edna Turnblad, Stephen DeRosa Wilbur Turnblad and Isabel Keating Velma Von Tussle.
