About This Gallery

Tovah Feldshuh adds excitement to any theater season, and her many fans are delighted that this four-time Tony nominee is headed back to Broadway for the first time in four years in the new autobiographical play Irena’s Vow. In this exciting true story, Feldshuh plays Irena Gut Opdyke, a Polish Catholic girl who became a hero of World War II by sheltering 12 Jews in the cellar of the home she worked in as housekeeper to a Nazi officer. After an acclaimed off-Broadway run last fall, Irena’s tale of heroism is coming to the Walter Kerr Theater on March 10, and Broadway.com got a preview on February 18 in the rehearsal studio. Get ready to be inspired by Tovah Feldshuh and Irena’s Vow!
