Spirits were running high on March 22 when Jesus Christ Superstar returned to Broadway in a sensational revival at the Neil Simon Theatre. The show’s legendary creators, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, were there to support their show's latest Broadway outing, which they have championed since the production began at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. Broadway.com was on hand to chat up Broadway newcomers Paul Nolan (Jesus), Josh Young (Judas) and Chilina Kennedy (Mary Magdalene), as well as Rialto vets like Tom Hewitt (Pilate), Bruce Dow (Herod), Marcus Nance (Caiaphas) and of course, director Des McAnuff.
