Should I See It?

What Is The Lyons Like?
This two-act, two-hour play moves quickly, and the laughs never stop. The entire first act takes place in the hospital room of the dying Ben Lyons (Dick Latessa) and features his nagging wife (Linda Lavin) and estranged children (Michael Esper and Kate Jennings Grant) picking over old wounds. Act Two becomes slightly darker but still packs a punch and provides plenty of laughs. The show is well directed and features can’t-miss performances from the four stars.

Is The Lyons Good For Kids?
The Lyons is a fun night out for adults and older teens, but due to adult language, sexual situations and violence, it is not an appropriate play for young ones.
