Light is a crucial element in the design scheme for Next to Normal (Tony nominee Kevin Adams did the honors), and in this week’s video blog, Kyle Dean Massey takes to the Booth Theatre stage to show off the production’s “green” use of LED and compact fluorescent bulbs. Climbing down from the rafters, our intrepid correspondent then chats with understudies Jessica Phillips, Michael Berry and Tim Young about what it takes to cover the demanding roles in this hit musical.
