Guitar Hero: Backstage at Once with Steve Kazee Episode 2: Beware the Broadway Plague!

It was a dramatic week backstage at Once, but Broadway.com vlogger Steve Kazee handled it like a pro. After a bout with a “Broadway plague” that had Kazee vomiting in his lobby (TMI, Steve!), the star had to do the unthinkable and call in sick. Back at the Jacobs Theatre, Kazee checked in with his hardworking understudy J. Michael Zygo, who found out an hour and a half before showtime that he'd be going on. Oh, and he'd never done the second act. Though Kazee was clearly bummed to have missed some shows, there was a silver lining: “The good news is I have lost 12 pounds, so I am gonna look great on opening night!” He also caught up with “Girl” understudy Erikka Walsh for her take on the stressful situation.
