What do you do if it’s just been announced that you are about to headline your first big Broadway musical? If you’re film favorite Daniel Radcliffe (who will play the lead in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying next spring), you high-tail it over to the Broadway Theatre to get schooled in musical theater genius by taking in Promises, Promises. The young actor idol famous for his Harry Potter flicks did just that on May 9 and then headed backstage to say cheerio to stars Kristin Chenoweth and Sean Hayes. Radcliffe’s Broadway musical debut will be directed and choreographed by Rob Ashford, the man behind this delightful revival of Promises, Promises, so you can imagine that there was plenty to talk about in this magical meeting.
