A classic comedy like The Royal Family is always welcome on Broadway, particularly when the cast is headed by Rosemary Harris, Jan Maxwell, Ana Gasteyer, John Glover and Tony Roberts! After a scary incident during previews in which Roberts became ill onstage at Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel L. Friedman Theatre, opening night on October 8 provided a happy ending: A recovered Roberts returned, and company celebrated after the show with mini milkshakes and comfort food at Planet Hollywood.
