After a sold out off-Broadway run at the Vineyard Theatre and summer engagement at Minneapolis' Guthrie Theatre, The Scottsboro Boys is ready to make its way to Broadway. On October 6, the cast of the new musical (the final collaboration between Tony winning songwriters John Kander and the late Fred Ebb) gathered to give our cameras a peek at some of the show's rousing minstrel-style songs, including the opening number, "Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey." Afterward, cast members including John Cullum, Joshua Henry, Colman Domingo and Forrest McClendon chatted about the show alongside director/choreographer Susan Stroman, book writer David Thompson and Kander himself. Meet the Boys below, and find out more about how this compelling true story is being told anew for Broadway audiences. Then snag your own tickets to see a performance at Lyceum Theatre.
