After a 50-year hiatus from the Great White Way, William Shatner landed back on Broadway as his one-man show, Shatner’s World: We Just Live in It, opened at the Music Box Theatre on February 16. The legendary actor of stage and screen, best known for his role as Captain James T. Kirk on Star Trek, took audiences on a 100-minute voyage through the highs and lows of his expansive life and career for the past 80 years living on planet Shatner (or as we like to call it: Earth). After the curtain came down, the two-time Emmy Award winner, his wife Elizabeth, director Scott Faris and a slew of the actor's famous friends beamed to Sardi’s restaurant to celebrate opening night.
