He's about to hit the stage as Corny Collins in Hairspray himself on August 14, but boy-bander turned gay icon Lance Bass decided to sit in the audience one last time last weekend. On July 28, he took a friend to see the Tony-winning smash Spring Awakening, which features a vibrant young cast that clearly used to bop to his voice back during his 'N Sync days. After the show, the gracious media magnet went back to say hi and Broadway.com was there.
