Spring Awakening Portrait Party at Tony's DiNapoli
The show has won just about every honor in town and on August 2 Spring Awakening garnered a spot on the "wall of fame" alongside Jersey Boys, Threepenny Opera and Beauty and the Beast with their very own portrait at Tony's DiNapoli in Times Square. Unveiled after the Thursday night performance of the Tony Award-winning musical, the cast celebrated around the new painting—an interpretation of the love that dawns between Spring's two leading characters—with heaps of pasta and a lot of laughs.
