About This Gallery

The 39 Steps' comedic quartet made a rare daylight appearance on September 17 to sign copies of the show's official CD, a compilation of music heard in the play and from various Hitchcock movies. Usually seen onstage in period clothing and portraying any number of characters with funny accents, the cast got to wear their own duds and head over to Times Square's Virgin Megastore and just be...themselves! In fact, anyone browsing for CDs and DVDs wouldn't have thought that Sam Robards, Cliff Saunders, Arnie Burton and Jennifer Ferrin were the amazing stars of a Broadway hit—until perhaps they noticed Robards' manicured moustache.
