A must-take musical trip down memory lane.
Anyone who stepped into the Westside Theatre on September 14, 2008 took a great leap back in time to 1958 for the opening-night performance of The Marvelous Wonderettes. The all-new musical revue follows four high-school friends as they prepare to sing at their prom. They run through a bevy of golden oldies ("Lollipop," "It's My Party," "Stupid Kid," to name a few) and each complements the teenagers' super-serious trials and tribulations. The music may have sounded different way back then, but gee whiz, all that boy trouble feels as real and relatable as ever. Click on to see more pics from the show and shindig!
