After Puttin' on The Ritz, Rosie Perez & the Boys Party at Planet Hollywood
With a curtain call that has the 22-member cast boogie-ing to Donna Summer's "Last Dance"—and at Studio 54, no less—the opening night party for the Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of Terrence McNally's 1975 gay bathhouse farce The Ritz had clearly already begun. Along with a house full of Roundabout alums and a bunch of director Joe Mantello's cronies (Nathan Lane, Mario Cantone, ex-lover Jon Robin Baitz) we hustled on over to Planet Hollywood where The Ritz stars Rosie Perez, Kevin Chamberlin and Brooks Ashmanskas celebrated the show's Broadway resurrection.
