Injury to Kathleen Turner Forces Cancellation of Three Third Story Perfs

Due to an injury sustained by leading lady Kathleen Turner, three performances of MCC Theater’s recently extended The Third Story have been cancelled. MCC's The Third Story Extends Through March 15

MCC Theater’s current run of playwright and star Charles Busch’s The Third Story has extended its limited run by two weeks. The limited engagement, directed by Carl Andress and co-starring Kathleen Turner, opened on February 2 with closing set for February 28. The New York premiere will now continue its off-Broadway run through March 15.

Kathleen Turner has signed on to co-star with Charles Busch in the off-Broadway production of actor/playwright’s latest comedy, The Third Story, for MCC Theater. Performances begin at the Lucille Lortel Theatre on January 14, 2009, with opening night set for February 2. The limited engagement will continue through February 28, directed by Carl Andress.
