Roundabout Underground’s newest cast got together on August 19, taking a break from rehearsals for the upcoming Kim Rosenstock comedy Tigers Be Still to introduce themselves before previews begin on September 10 at the company's Black Box theater. Directed by Sam Gold (Circle Mirror Transformation), the show—which plays a limited run through November 21—centers on Sherry Wickman (Halley Feiffer), a young woman who expects the perfect career and life to fall into place upon earning her masters degree in art therapy. Instead, Sherry finds herself unemployed and hiding out in her twin-sized childhood bed. When she gets hired as a substitute art teacher, things begin to brighten up. Now if only her sister (Natasha Lyonne) would get off the couch, her first patient (John Magaro) would do his take-home assignments, her new boss (Reed Birney) would leave his gun at home, and someone would catch the tiger that escaped from the zoo. We dropped in on Feiffer, Lyonne, Magaro and Birney to get a few shots before their show takes the stage. Check them out!
