Story

Based on the 1942 film of the same name, this comedy is set during the Nazi occupation of Poland. An acting troupe, led by a famed stage couple, becomes embroiled in a Polish soldier's efforts to track down a German spy. This commentary on WWII is also a tribute to the timeless joys of the theater.
