Seasonal Snapshots: Backstage at Wicked

The holidays are in full swing in New York City, but did you know the season has also hit the Land of Oz? Luckily Wicked’s bubbly Glinda, Alli Mauzey, smuggled her camera backstage at the Gershwin Theatre, giving Broadway.com up close and personal access to all of the megahit musical’s seasonal merriment. The Good Witch/photographer snapped her way through the in-house festivities, documenting everything from Elphaba’s goodwill (it ain’t easy being green—but it is a little easier when you match the holiday décor) to Munchkinland gift exchanges to one very pooped Nessarose.
