After touring the country for over a year, Mary Poppins’ original Bert has made his way back to Broadway. On August 24 the magical nanny and her fellow castmates welcomed Tony nominee Gavin Lee home to the New Amsterdam Theatre. As always, the British actor was all smiles on his “jolly holiday” of a night as he reunited with Laura Michelle Kelly, his original Mary in Poppins’ London production. After their performance, the Cherry Tree Lane family toasted Lee’s return. Come join the festivities!
