'Stick Fly' settles into its Broadway home.

Broadway gets a new taste of the upper crust as Lydia R. Diamond's Stick Fly begins previews at the Cort Theatre on November 18. The new play, which includes Grammy winning artist Alicia Keys among its lead producers, will officially open on December 8, directed by Kenny Leon.

The cast of Stick Fly includes Tracie Thoms, Mekhi Phifer, Condola Rashad, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Rosie Benton and Dule Hill. In addition to producing, Keys has composed original music for the play.

Set at the elegant summer home of the well-to-do LeVay family, Stick Fly begins when two adult sons bring their significant others (one a fiancée, the other a new girlfriend) home to meet their parents for the first time. Soon, secrets are revealed, civilities are dropped and identities are explored in a harsh new light. Race and rivalry, class and family, all come together for an explosive comedy of manners about today’s complex world. Head to the Cort Theatre and see it come to life!
