Stars from stage, television and film—including Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy, Ethan Coen and Raul Esparza—flooded the beautiful 19th-century church that Atlantic Theater Company calls home on October 1. The cause for celebration: Atlantic’s grand reopening of its mainstage Linda Gross Theater after undergoing a historic $8.3 million renovation. The new and improved theater was unveiled during a gala event that will make fans of the company, as well as cast members, cheer. (No more restrooms behind the stage!) Check out the photos from Atlantic’s big party, and check out the inaugural production of the new and improved space, Harper Regan, starring founding member Mary McCann.
