'Annie' officially opens at Broadway's Palace Theatre on November 8.

The highly anticipated Broadway revival of Annie officially opens at the Palace Theatre on November 8. Directed by James Lapine, the production stars Lilla Crawford as Annie, Anthony Warlow as Daddy Warbucks and two-time Tony winner Katie Finneran as Miss Hannigan.

Inspired by the famous comic strip Little Orphan Annie, the musical first opened on Broadway on April 21, 1977 and ran for 2,377 performances. The show, which follows a young Depression-era orphan sent to live with the rich and famous Daddy Warbucks, features music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Martin Charnin and a book by Thomas Meehan. Annie’s Tony-winning score includes classics like “Tomorrow,” “Easy Street,” “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile” and “Maybe.”

In addition to Crawford, Warlow and Finneran, the revival stars Brynn O’Malley as Grace Farrell, Clarke Thorell as Rooster Hannigan, J. Elaine Marcos as Lily St. Regis and Sunny the dog as Sandy. Annie also features Madi Rae DiPietro as July, Emily Rosenfeld as Molly, Georgi James as Pepper, Tyrah Skye Odoms as Kate, Junah Jang as Tessie, Taylor Richardson as Duffy. Sadie Sink and Jaidyn Young serve as standbys.
