The Public Theater played host to a double whammy opening night on March 11 as two new shows made their bows on the stages at Astor Place: Neva, the Chekhovian musing by Guillermo Calderon, and Detroit ‘67, Dominique Morisseau’s Motor City drama. Both shows received a hefty dose of support from Public alumni who returned to the company's newly renovated theater complex to welcome these two works into the 2012-2013 season.
