in Heartbreak House
The Roundabout Theatre Company's production of George Bernard Shaw's Heartbreak House has announced a one-week extension at the American Airlines Theatre, through December 17. The revival, directed by Robin Lefevre, opened on Broadway to generally strong reviews on October 11.
Heartbreak House follows a weekend in the English countryside on the eve of World War I that becomes a tangle of unlikely attachments and unwanted complications. Romance springs eternal but never mutual, and the most successful relationships have the least to do with love.
