Throughout the rhyme-filled comedy La Bete, the characters played by David Hyde Pierce, Mark Rylance and Joanna Lumley discuss the importance of pleasing audiences when writing plays. Appropriately enough, we sent three members of our new Word of Mouth panel to check out the comedy and see if it stayed true to its crowd-appealing beliefs. After heading to the Music Box Theatre, where the palace-set La Bete recently celebrated its opening, Broadway.com reviewers Matt (a dietician), Jared (a retail salesperson) and Chase (a student) gave us their opinions on director Matthew Warchus' Broadway revival. Watch below to see if they found the comedy to be a royal treat!
