Oprah Winfrey might be one of the busiest women on the planet running an empire that includes talk shows, a magazine and, let’s not forget, her very own OWN Network, but when the Queen of all Media hopped on a flight from Chicago to New York City to teach a “Master Class” at Radio City Music Hall, she couldn’t resist the bright lights of the Great White Way. On April 4, Winfrey took a seat at the Shubert Theatre, and Memphis transported her to the Beale Street clubs where rock & roll was born. After a rip-roaring good time, Winfrey, accompanied by students from her Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa, headed backstage to meet Adam Pascal, Montego Glover, Derrick Baskin and the rest of the cast. Click below to watch the mogul hockadoo it up, then take your own trip to the Shubert Theatre to experience the music live.
